Mixed Reality Copenhagen — Spatial Motion Studies

A series of personal motion studies exploring the intersection of filmed urban environments and abstract digital interventions across Copenhagen’s architectural spaces.

The project combined live-action footage, camera tracking, 3D motion graphics, and compositing to introduce sculptural and semi-figurative forms into existing public environments. Inspired by Danish modernism, geometric abstraction, and principles of reduction, the interventions were designed to feel integrated into the rhythm and structure of the city rather than imposed onto it.

Rather than functioning as visual effects demonstrations, the pieces explored how digital forms could interact with physical architecture through scale, balance, movement, and spatial tension — creating temporary hybrid environments between reality and constructed digital space.

The studies focused on atmosphere, motion behavior, and compositional restraint, treating Copenhagen itself as a framework for experimentation in spatial visual language.
