Købstædernes Forsikring — Time Travel Campaign

A bus wrap concept developed for Købstædernes Forsikring as part of a campaign exploring the company’s long history through time-travel narratives.

The project used the physical interaction of the bus doors as the central visual device, transforming a familiar Copenhagen street moment into a surreal historical encounter. As the doors open, passengers dressed in period clothing emerge into present-day traffic while confronting a distracted rider on a historical one-wheel bicycle.

The visual direction combined AI-assisted image generation, historical costume research, 3D integration, and compositing to create a cohesive photorealistic scene balancing humor, atmosphere, and spatial interaction. Rather than treating the bus surface as a static graphic, the concept turned the vehicle itself into part of the storytelling system.

The result merged historical references with contemporary urban culture while reinforcing the brand’s identity as a company rooted in longevity and continuity.
